  what does she know about my relationship with jehovah?

  it was followed up by a bunch of links to jw org problem is dialog is not possible her side is the only one to be heard.

  Sending angry stuff will only make them believe stronger in Watchtowers false claim that all who leave are angry, bitter, unhappy.

  Yet it could be a great opportunity to poke the bear a bit.

  She wrote "I want to be able to do that with you in paradise. Get to know you and your family".

  I'd definitely respond with something like "I'd love for you to spend some time with us and get to know us too! Good thing we can already do that today. You're kindly invited to [dinner at my place / phone call / whatever]. We're available [whatever date suits you]. Let me know if that date suits you too."

  their official web site says that national television stations and radio stations in africa were happy to broadcast the memorial and even other talks!!

  Yeah they bought airtime on at least one tv station (in a country that has only one tv station and where other religions regularly buy airtime too).

  Saying 'in Africa' is technically correct but it's a bit silly to make a claim about a whole continent if you're really talking about 1 or maybe 2 countries.

  Anyway, every tv station is happily selling airtime to whomever is willing to pay. Doesn't mean those buying the airtime are awesome or divinely guided or anything....

  making dumb guesses about god's cryptic prophecies makes them foolish and indiscreet- not false prophets who claim god gave them the message.. two questions—.

  EVERY Religion has Hypocrites- even the TRUE One!

  so, if you expect to find 'saints' with halos, you will never find real christians.. after over 30 years of being a jw, there are many things about the org that disturb me- yet no one else even acknowledges the only true god, as jesus referred to him.. not a 'they' or 'them' ('trinity')- but him!and he has always had the name jehovah (yehovah in hebrew)- even though the koine greek had no version of it when the nt was written.. so among the many things real christians have to endure- is often each other!

  Learning the Catholic Cult was so deceptive, I almost gave up on faith altogether

  Huh, exactly what happened to me when I learned Watchtower leaders are disgustingly dishonest whenever they write about subjects where facts and evidence contradict their doctrine (age of mankind, Noah's flood, evolution, 607BCE) or when they need to shoehorn their previous statements into current doctrine.

  If you have to cheat to defend your beliefs, your beliefs are not worth defending.

  god commanded the org to sell buildings in new york cause corona virus was comming.

  lots of jws see it as this is the true religion cause of that 🙃😊 ofcourse no one been mentioning why no warning before spanish flu 1918 or terrorism 9/11.

  God also told the Borg to build new convention centers in Europe that now go unused because all large events are banned.

  God also didn't tell the Borg they needed to build in videoconferencing in their omnipresent Jw.borg.

  Now they're stuck with using worldly tech that has severe privacy issues, is either expensive or time-limited, is 'hacked' way too easy.

  Tunistic First off that sent a red flair in the sky was when early on the Chinese did a "its a US Army made virus" WTF. Who would say that except for a guilty person.

  ...says the person claiming "it's a Chinese Army made virus"

  Does claiming "our opponent did this" properly indicate a person's/country's own guilt?

  Or is it more likely just emotions and propaganda speaking?

  Online witnessing / witness meeting

  the local congregation has organized witness meetings at zoom with the field service group.. witness are advised to take part of the online witness meeting, dispite if they witness online or not.. this all to keep the routine, they say.. g..

  if anyone voices an opinion with which i disagree or even detest, i can either debate it or walk away.. the last thing i want is for someone to be silenced by threats.

  however, it appears that some opinions on social media etc.

  which contradict the official narrative are being muted.

  Freedom of speech is a very important thing.

  However, my freedom of speech does not mean everyone else should willingly and freely offer their platform to me to spread my speech.

  Much less are platforms obliged to offer their technology and services to those who spread false or misleading messages that endanger individual people or society as a whole.

  If on this forum Simon decides to remove my posts simply because he doesn't like what I write, that is not a infringement on my freedom of speech.

  If YouTube or Facebook decide to remove factually incorrect messages that claim COVID-19 is caused by 5G from their platforms, that is not a violation of the freedom of speech of the people spouting such nonsense.

  You and I aren't obliged to allow people who want to proclaim whatever message to do so from our living room using our telephone, or from our back yard.

  Neither are large companies obliged to offer their 'living room' to let people shout dangerous nonsense.

  Freedom of speech means that you can speak your mind without being arrested. That's it.

  And even then our freedom of speech is limited by other people's freedoms and rights...
